Would anyone
notice?

Most firms sell a red team that is a penetration test with a more expensive name. The difference is the question you are paying to answer.

A penetration test maps the surface you put in scope and shows how far a skilled operator can get. That work has its own page, and we do it.

A red team engagement assumes someone is already trying. The objective is a business outcome — the finance system, the identity plane, the data that would actually hurt a Nebraska company — and the test includes whether your people and your tooling notice, contain, and respond. Stealth is part of the method. Detection is part of the score.

You are not buying a longer vulnerability list. You are buying an honest answer to whether the defense you already pay for works when the attacker is not announcing themselves.
